Content Delivery - PubPath

We generally have two primary goals associated with the design and functionality of online products: satisfaction of our markets’ desire for web-delivered reference works and compliance with both established and evolving online publishing standards.

GVPi has delivered high-end award winning products for small, medium, and large publishers such as The Bureau of National Affairs, Thomson, WoltersKluwer and Reed Elsevier for the past twenty years. We adhere to the latest standards in web design and development and use the latest data conversion/transformation and web development/publishing solutions. PubPath has been developed with Microsoft web services in order to maintain and exceed the advanced technology requirements of our customers.

PubPath will display articles or other material so that users will find what they are looking for quickly and easily. With full browse and search functionality, the site will contain the following components:

  • A navigable table of contents or browse trees with documents categorized in alphabetical order or sorted based on criteria developed by the publisher;
  • Subject or topic mapping in alphabetical order;
  • Personalization;
  • Saved searches;
  • Favorite documents;
  • Advanced search page with boolean search techniques; and
  • A history of viewed documents.

PubPath uses some of the standard navigation techniques that publishers have come to expect in an Internet site: navigable table of contents or browse trees, browsing by topic or subject areas, reference areas, and navigable hit list or search results.

One of the strengths of PubPath is the ability to search for any metadata in the database and locate it quickly and easily.

PubPath is a valuable tool for delivering content to your end-users using a full range of options based on their needs.
