search functionality, the site will contain the following components:
- A navigable table of contents or browse trees with documents categorized in alphabetical order or sorted based on criteria developed by the publisher;
- Subject or topic mapping in alphabetical order;
- Personalization;
- Saved searches;
- Favorite documents;
- Advanced search page with boolean search techniques; and
- A history of viewed documents.
PubPath uses some of the standard navigation techniques that publishers have come to expect in an Internet site: navigable table of
contents or browse trees, browsing by topic or subject areas, reference areas, and navigable hit list or search results.
One of the strengths of PubPath is the ability to search for any metadata in the database and locate it quickly and easily.
